Paddle Roller 75mm x 22mm
Removes trapped air, compacts fibres and improves the final roof finish — something standard rollers cannot achieve.
Paddle rollers are used after resin has been applied to fibreglass matting to consolidate the laminate, remove trapped air and create a smooth, professional GRP roof finish.
While experienced laminators can achieve good results using rollers and brushes alone, a paddle roller delivers a level of consolidation and finish that simply cannot be matched by standard application rollers. No matter how much pressure is applied with a fluffy roller, it cannot force air out of the laminate in the same way.
The finish of your laminate directly affects the finish of your topcoat. Any trapped air, ridges or uneven fibre distribution will be highlighted once the topcoat is applied. Paddle rolling ensures the laminate is properly compacted before curing, helping achieve the best possible final appearance and long-term durability.
