Heavy Duty B230 Raised Edge Trim (3m)

The B230 is the smallest raised edge trim in the Cure It range. It forms a raised lip along roof edges that are not meant to drain, containing and directing water towards the drainage edge. Its drip matches the A170.

Where it is used

Non-draining flat roof edges (verges and sides) where water must be held on the roof and directed to the gutter edge.

Installation note

Fix a single batten level with the top edge of the deck, run a continuous bead of Cure It Trim Adhesive along it, rub the trim into place and nail through the top of the trim into the decking, never through the front face. Where a ladder will regularly rest against the trim, reinforce it (double up the trim, add an extra layer of laminate and tissue, or fit a shaped timber batten into the ridge). Fix with 13mm galvanised clout nails or a stapler into the decking: at each end, the middle, then 100mm centres. Use Cure It Trim Adhesive (silicone or general-purpose mastic is not suitable).
