A170 Fascia/Drip/Gutter Trim (3m)

The A170 is the smallest of the Cure It A-type drip trims. It finishes the lowest edge of the roof, where rainwater runs off into the gutter, and is intended for restricted fascia details where there is not room for the larger, standard A200.

Where it is used

The low edge of a flat roof, above the gutter, where the fascia detail is too tight for the standard A200 drip trim.

Installation note

Fix two support battens around the edge, the outer one 10mm lower than the inner so the trim sits flush. Run a continuous bead of Cure It Trim Adhesive along the batten, rub the trim into place and nail into the decking, never through the front face. On very low falls, plane 2mm off the deck edge so the trim sits flush. Fix with 13mm galvanised clout nails or a stapler into the decking: at each end, the middle, then 100mm centres. Use Cure It Trim Adhesive (silicone or general-purpose mastic is not suitable). Bandage every joint between trim sections and between trim and decking. Compatibility

Corners: C1 universal external corner and C2 fillet-to-trim corner (both stated for all A trims). B230 raised edge trim has a drip that matches the A170.
